Planning in 2D / 3D

Architecturally, our technicians create a three-dimensional plan using the latest version of the BIM-capable Autodesk software Revit (3D design program). ECOS does not use the predefined families but works with our own wall/ceiling system. The planning can be exported in various file formats (dwg / dxf / dgn / ifc / rvt) as a 2D or 3D model and is available as the basis for an overall model (coordination with other trades).

For sections, detail and production drawings, additional CAD products (AutoCAD, Inventor) are used to meet all planning challenges in the best quality.

Advantages

  • Each wall and ceiling element is individually recognizable in the models. This means that the joint pattern is also visible.
  • Special solutions can be depicted correctly and easily using specially created families.
  • The color scheme is displayed correctly (glass, stainless steel, wall color & ceiling color).
  • Internal reinforcements (e.g. for wall cabinets) are color-coded in the model.
  • Door components (door closer, door drive, fittings, etc.) can also be integrated.
  • The level of detail can be changed by displaying different subcategories (interfering edges visible, uprights visible, etc.).
  • Wall views, floor plans and ceiling levels are automatically updated when changes are made to the model.
  • 3D collision check
  • Interfering edges of uprights, frames, stiffeners etc. can be shown and hidden separately for the collision check.
  • Export as dwg, dxf, dgn & ifc file possible.
  • Various export options make it easy to coordinate with other trades.
  • Compatible with Naviswork
  • Data generated by Revit is used for production/manufacturing. The properties (dimensions, colors, etc.) of the wall and ceiling elements exported from Revit are used to create the production documents. This minimizes the potential for errors at the planning/production interface
