Welcome to ECOS, your specialist for cleanroom consulting from Austria.
The special requirements for product manufacturing in the semiconductor industry, microelectronics, in the pharmaceutical industry or in laboratories or hospitals require cleanrooms that are absolutely free of dust, germs or other contaminants.

Our company has its origins in the VOEST-ALPINE Group and was taken over by Binder Holding in 2004. We produce and plan high-quality cleanrooms for customers from all over Europe, and are also available for cleanroom consulting in the design of cleanrooms and cleanrooms.

The company is based in Kirchberg am Wagram, Lower Austria, a small town conveniently located close to the S5 Vienna-Krems highway.

General information

We help you to plan, produce and install the perfect cleanroom for you. Through intensive cooperation with specialist planners, architects, designers and our customers in all project phases, we are able to create a cleanroom tailored to your needs. Specially created 3D models enable collision checks and visualization in advance and are transmitted in all common formats.

All cleanroom surfaces can be supplied in stainless steel V2A (1.4301) / V4A (1.4571) or powder-coated in a wide range of RAL colors. Almost all process, electrical and sanitary components can be integrated into our cleanroom ceilings and walls (flush-mounted and/or surface-mounted).

Partners / SUB companies / suppliers

We attach particular importance to the best possible quality and therefore source components such as automatic door drives, high-speed roller shutters, sliding doors with/without fire protection requirements, lights, etc. exclusively from partners with whom we have been working for many years and with whom we have only had very good experiences.

Additional components such as filter technology, equipment, cleanroom furniture, floors (raised floors), cleanroom clothing or cleanroom equipment are not part of our product portfolio, but can be supplied. If required, we will be happy to put you in touch with our suppliers.

Cleanroom classes

Our cleanrooms / cleanroom doors / cleanroom ceilings / cleanroom glazing are used in the various cleanroom classes according to ISO 14644-1 (ISO 5 - ISO 9) or according to GMP guidelines Annex 1 (cleanroom class A to cleanroom class D) with positive and negative pressure.

Filters / air filter boxes / lights / cleanroom equipment

All components for a cleanroom (cleanroom filters, air filter boxes, cleanroom luminaires) are easily integrated flush into our cleanroom wall or cleanroom ceiling, always in close consultation with the planner.

Various other equipment for cleanrooms and process systems are taken into account during planning.

Components that are subsequently connected to the monitoring are installed in the cleanroom doors.

Leakage test / blower door test

We extensively tested the cleanroom doors that we created and installed during cleanroom construction for leaks in a sample room at our company site. We tested for various pressure differences / pressure levels (10 - 100 Pascal) and can provide you with these leakages when designing the ventilation system in the project planning.

Clean room silicone

Only cleanroom silicone is used for airtight jointing in cleanroom technology. These cleanroom silicones naturally also have a test certificate from the Hygiene Institute.

Disinfection resistance (H2O2 hydrogen peroxide)

Cleanrooms are normally disinfected using conventional cleaning agents and disinfectants to which our system is resistant. In the production of cleanrooms, all cut edges are only powder-coated after punching, so no bare areas are visible.

If special cleaning agents and/or disinfectants are to be used, we are happy to carry out resistance tests on the powder coating.

The powder coating of the walls and ceiling system, including the cleanroom silicone, has been tested for resistance to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) by Graz University of Technology. A list of commercially available cleaning agents and disinfectants to which our powder coating is resistant can be requested on request.

Qualification and validation

We provide the necessary documentation in advance as far as possible.
